JOSEF NEWGARDEN
INDIANAPOLIS 500
TEAM: TEAM PENSKE
STARTED: 22ND
FINISHED: 19TH
“It was an okay day. We just got caught up in the wreck there at the end. That really hurt us. When we were up front, we were good. It seemed like we were able to keep racing ourselves up to the front before that. Issues kept dropping us back a bit. Overall we performed well today, things just didn’t go our way. That happens sometimes in Indianapolis.”

 SPENCER PIGOT

INDYCAR GRAND PRIX
TEAM: JUNCOS RACING
STARTED: 29TH
FINISHED: 18TH
“It was a very long, frustrating race. I think there’s still something I’m missing or something that’s gone awry with the car since the crash in practice. It never really felt right to me after that, and it was just very difficult to drive. But we fought through a tough day, and we didn’t give up. The guys kept working hard, and I can’t thank them enough for the recovery and for putting this all together for the biggest race in the world.”
